Rumor is Bobrovsky has given a list of teams he is willing to be traded to. Stay tuned............
the situation with Bobrovsky appears… untenable ... He looks very unhappy, and what Columbus must weigh is the effect it has on the roster. He has control over the situation with a no-move clause, but it is believed he has given an indication of teams he will consider.
That's exactly what St Louis needs.
I think that is an excellent possibility. As you say, Lou gets his goalie. He is also willing to pay for a goalie.Islanders makes the most sense. They got the capspace from missing out on Tavares, Lou always gets his goalie, and Russians love New York.

But if the Islanders think he wants to go to NY in the offseason, why not just get him for free?
2 years late if you ask this CBJ fan.
Why is he so unhappy?
True enough. Same with any team I guess. The only reason I can think of is that they feel that they are close to a playoff team. Maybe to avoid competition the same way teams trade for FAs a month or a few weeks, days before July 1st. Maybe it is the re-signing year. I don't know. But if the Islanders think he wants to go to NY in the offseason, why not just get him for free?

While it’s eaay to sell low on draft picks, how tough would it be to see your biological son grow up to provide Vezina calibre goaltending for the Columbus Blue Jackets?I'll give my first unborn son for him to come to Calgary, we need him badly. Not gonna happen sadly
Blues are not trading their top young prospects for a soon to be if a they can't afford under the cap. They got ROR for a collection of mediocre assets, but will they be able to do the same with Bobrovsky? Or, will they have to pay Kyrou or Thomas?
