Well, whether he signed an two-way NHL deal or just an AHL deal, he would have been making $70k next season as he wouldn't have sniffed any NHL games

Probably best for him if he stays in Europe for a couple more years at this point. He stays healthy and develops and then maybe he is a candidate for ELC somewhere.
