2nd game in a row on the 2nd pairing and as PP regular.

They have had close to their full team both games as well.

Got a primary assist on the 2nd goal too (Jesper Pettersson scored...)

Do we still have the rights to Pettersson?

Nope. They let them expire by not offering him a contract.

Since heading back to Sweden he has been just great. His performances last year ensured he made his senior NT debut.

It might simply be that his game is suited better to the SHL, but there is a chance that over the last couple of years he simply matured late and by then had used up his AHL chances.

Sweden is usually a great place for players to develop...

but Bernhardt should be building on a pretty damn good season last year and instead is getting played less, and if today is anything to go off ‎Robert Ohlsson has made up his mind and won't play him as more than a #7.

Saw it in play-offs last year when he had a great game to basically win a game for his side, had one mistake the game after and was scratched the rest of the play-offs.

He needs a loan to another SHL club... he would be top 4 on a few of them.

as time goes on it's looking more likely that he probably won't be in the Flyers long term plans. Things can certainly change but you have Kalynuk, Hogberg, Wylie, Zamula?, Ginning that are younger and look to have more upside that Bernhardt at this point.

Always nice to have prospects play with one another.

When they come here they will have a little more confidence and support from each other - hope they kill it while on the same team now.

Thought he had a chance to get an ELC this offseason. Looks like he’ll probably play another year and they’ll have to make a final decision on him.

Caught parts of their game over the weekend. Looked like he was moving better than I remembered.

Hogberg was playing RD on the top pair.

Bernhardt needs a full season to show him worthy of an ELC. Moving to the Finnish league was a smart move if he plays in the top 4 and gets 20 minutes a night.

We have a logjam coming up with Zamula and Wylie leaving juniors, York a potential jump this year or next, Kalynuk at an age where I expect him to go pro, St Ivany an outside possibility and of course Hogberg. We drafted a lot of defensemen the last couple years.

Does that jibe with what you saw in Sweden?
Either he learned how to skate or he has "Frost" syndrome, struggles to play as fast as he can skate so he looks slower.
Because those are some surprising numbers.

Seeing as there hasn't been much on here since December is it safe to assume that Bernhardt's not likely to be signed by June 1st?

Generally, going from Sweden to Finland is a bit of a step down — especially because of the difference in salaries between the two leagues.

With the depth of the Flyers system it's hard to imagine him receiving a contract.
