Our D is way better, and our lines 2-4 have the potential to cave in their lines 2-4 if properly matched up. Nuke, Landy and Lehky are gonna have their hands full trying to contain McDrai, so we gotta rely on our depth.

Burakovsky needs to smarten up, and hopefully Newhook, Cogs, NAK, LOC, and Sturm can start putting in a few goals.

Hopefully Kuemper stops acting like he's a turtle and the net is his shell. You're 6'11 for godsake, use it.

Must shut down the oilers top line. Interested to see how Bednar matches up with them. I would match the McDavid line with Landeskog/Kadri/Lekhonen, but possible Bednar wants to match the big lines.

I agree with you. Match Landy-Kadri-Lehkonen against McDrai and let the MacK line run wild. If the Oilers split McDrai, then match MacK against one and Kadri against the other. I think Kadri's had some success in the past defending against McJesus no?

IMO, the ideal thing that happens is they're forced to split McDrai up then stay out of the box to limit their time together

Oilers come out flying tonight while the Avs are still reminiscing on the emotional high of beating St. Louis with 5 seconds left. Oilers score in the first 5 minutes en route to a 5-2 win. Draisaitl with 4 points, Evander Kane with 2 goals and a bone crushing hit on Devon Toews.

I hope somehow, Rantanen can pull his head out of his ass and show up. So far we have been winning due to a great team effort. Imagine if we had a great team effort and our top players were playing like top players.

I don't usually have a good feeling but I have a really bad feeling about this one. 5-1 Oilers, McJesus and Dr. Drai with 7 points each. Barrie with a hattrick. SOG ends 51-15 in favor of the Avs. We win 3 faceoffs the whole game.

I'm the opposite, I'm usually nervous for the start of a playoff series but I just can't talk myself into being afraid of Edmonton. They're the Avs of years past, a few players dragging the rest of their team into relevance. That can only keep up for so long, usually until they run into a complete team (which the Avs finally are).

My brain says Avs in 6 but I've got a feeling the Avs dominate this series and we're over in 4 or 5.

Oilers stars are firing on all cylinders will be a tough series. Really need Kuemper and Mikko to improve or it could spell trouble.
