You could overage him. The contract would still slide if you sign him before then.

Yeah I know, but picks this high usually don't go that route. We'll see if they want to put him on the fast track on not. He may be better suited for college.

Nothing wrong with him going to college. Andy Murray was a Flyers' assistant coach for 2 years under Holmgren and has 20 years of NHL coaching experience, 10 of them as a head coach. Not a bad guy to have coaching your prospect, although you can't go wrong with Brandon either.

99. Wade Allison, RW, Tri-City (USHL)
DOB: 10/14/97 | Ht: 6-2 | Wt: 205

The best player during the USHL playoffs, Allison turned me from a skeptic into a semi-believer of him being an NHL prospect. Allison is a pretty good skater (he finished toward the top in nearly every skating-related skills competition at the USHL top prospects game), showing a solid top gear and first few steps. He's a smart player with the puck, being able to move it, but he generates more chances for himself than his teammates. Allison was a shots-on-goal machine during the season and into the playoffs, and could be a legitimate goal scorer as a pro.

Pronman isn't wrong. One of the knocks on him is that when he drives the net in transition, he doesn't or won't pass. Likes to take the shot himself instead of dish, even when a forward has a wide open net.

Was hoping he would be picked by us and was pumped when he was selected. Just a real solid draft by the Flyers very solid all around.

Pretty slick mitts for a big guy. Seems like he has a pretty good release- able to get his shot off on the rush.

Looks good in the highlights. His neck is super long. Look at his twitter pick.

Hard to not like this pick, he seems to be the player that we really needed for our prospect pool. Goal scorer and power forward with size. Very curious to see how he does next season in NCAA (or WHL?).

I love this guy after watching his 12min highlight video. Our future Hartnell!:yo:

Big guy, good skating, and has patience with the puck but shoots to kill. Hextall, amazing job.
