If the Flyers were smart, Neuvirth and Elliott are quietly LTIR'd for the season and never are heard from again.
WhatLeaf watchers call Robidas Island! Or give them away as 3rd stringers for playoff teams, or waive them.

At the General Motors plant my stepdad worked at, they referered to it as Cripple Creek. My stepdad floated down it with carpal tunnel until he hit retirement age. I wonder what the factory version of "the gunk" would be...

1) I think they'd be a bubble team, while Hart would have almost definitely struggled, it seems like a foregone conclusion that he would've been better than everybody on this team
2) If the Flyers were smart, Neuvirth and Elliott are quietly LTIR'd for the season and never are heard from again
3) Right now? No, but if this keeps up, Yes I believe he should be, I still think it's Petterssons to lose, however if Hart drags this corpse of a team into the playoffs, I think he could steal it away.

LTIR is only if you're going over the cap ceiling, which the Flyers won't be.

I doubt Neuvirth will play another game, but Elliott will probably be the 3rd goalie on the roster once he's healthy allowing them to waive & send down McKenna.

I guess my LTIR is burned into my brain from the Holmgren days.

If it were up to me. I'd just ask the two vets to stay in the background. They serve almost no purpose. But I can get behind an Elliott 3rd goalie

I feel like you're dangerously close to causing a goalie injury by assuming there won't be any more goalie injuries. Don't jinx it.

Has anyone seen his high danger vs. low danger %? I know someone does that somewhere, sometime.

All situations (700+ TOI)

Low danger: .975% (23/56 in NHL)
Medium danger: .921% (15/56 in NHL)
High danger: .826% (10/56 in NHL)

5v5 (600+ TOI)

Low danger: .981% (13/54 in NHL)
Medium danger: .916% (23/56 in NHL)
High danger: .829% (12/56 in NHL)

Pretty damn good across the board...

Thank you very much. Don't feel obligated, but where are those #'s relative to league average?

This kid is something phenomenal. I mean, I was a big Bob fan when he came over, & I thought Cechmanek deserved a lot more credit, but with Hart I’m witnessing something extra special.

Hart's the best and healthiest goaltender in camp by a mile. He should start 40 games in the NHL this season.

The Flyers' handling of this situation will cost them at least 3 games this year.

He'll probably get to around 35-36 starts.

Don't worry about burning Hart out, he's played almost 70 games in each of the last three years.
His style is conducive to a heavy work load, since he's so efficient (not at lot of those groin straining saves).
It would help if the defense was a bit more stout.
