There was a rumor McCabe for Bennett. It was passed on from twitter, I can't remember the WGR guy that pretends to have insider info and retweets the rumors. If someone is interested I am sure they can find it on twitter. I don't use twitter maybe it was super secret sabres guy? So probably nonsense.

I like McCabe but that's a stretch

Think he's been playing the wing because Duchene, White, Tierny, Pageau are down the middle. And their 2nd line wingers without Stone/Dzingel in line up are Zack Smith and Magnus Paajarvi.

Honestly it doesnt matter if he plays LW or C. We have the worst bottom 9 in hockey. Lol. He would be a great asset regardless, and free to acquire during UFA.

With Dahlin, Pilut, and Guhle, I don't *mind* moving him, but it'd have to be for a stupidly high return at this point or part of a package to fill another need.

Depressing. Had Housley put together the Reinhart-Mittelstadt-Sheary line 6 weeks ago we'd be 4 points better and right in the mix.
