Josh Bailey of the Islanders.

I also wouldn't be terribly surprised if Niederreiter is capable of coming in and putting up 50 points, although no-one should be counting on that.

I could see Markstrom getting a chance to become the starter of Florida and could run with it. I know he didn't look that great at the beg of the year but he's been playing better lately. Either way he's the future for the Florida and was even compare to the next Lundqvist.

Also I see Al Montoya breaking out next year and even giving the Islander a chance to make the playoff.

On the Devils Mattias Tedenby definitely that ability with a full roster spot.

I could also see Jacob Josefson and/or Nick Palmieri having such a breakout.

James van Riemsdyk is the first name that came to mind for me.

A couple other Americans to watch for include Colin Wilson and John Carlson, although I think the latter has already officially broken out. He'll just continue to get better and garner the notoriety he deserves.

He (probably) won't hit 50 points, but I expect Teemu Hartikainen to make the Oilers and have a pretty good season.

Matt Calvert - he had 20 points in 41 games for the Jackets in his rookie season and he's only going to get better.

Really, many of the Jackets players are poised for a breakout like they were last year.

Mason for a rebound, Voracek, Filatov, Johansen, Moore, etc. However I've learned to temper my expectations a lot.
