Home teams traditionally post the game highlights to YT is all. You can also just use AHL Live and sort by team. Why are AHL highlights so hard to come by? Why can't we watch Justin Bailey emerging and scoring 2 goals against Syracuse? It's not like these games are taking place in northern Manitoba, it's right down the damn Thruway.
The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has signed forward Matt Lane to an American Hockey League contract for the 2016-17 season.
Lane, 21, a Rochester native, recently completed his senior season at Boston University, where he recorded a career-high 28 points (14+14) along with 14 penalty minutes in 39 games. During the 2014-15 campaign, Lane registered 18 points (8+10) in 41 games to help BU to an appearance in the NCAA National Championship game. In 152 career games with BU, the 5-foot-10, 184-pound Lane collected 69 points (33+36) and 34 penalty minutes.
Prior to his college career, Lane spent two seasons with the U.S. National Team Development Program and helped guide Team USA to the gold medal in the 2012 Under-18 World Championship.
Who actually runs the Amerks as its GM? It shouldn't be TM alone with some stiff doing the office admin work in Roch.
It's the one thing you can criticize Murray for, your AHL team should be a major priority, the Calder Cup playoffs are invaluable in the development of prospects. Missing out both years under TM is pretty bad. Much more attention needs to be paid to putting together a winning team down there.
That's irrelevant. But you're right. It doesn't mean much for development. But winning should be a priority at every level of the organization.I don't know about that.
The most AHL playoff games amongst Chicago's skaters is Duncan Keith at 14.
Crawford played 25 AHL playoff games.
In today's game, most high impact guys don't spend a lot of time in the AHL and learning to win there isn't a prerequisite to winning in the NHL.
But, it would be nice for Amerks fans.
