Not gonna lie, college football seems to be veering into the direction of outlawing defense.

Like, apparently unless you’re Alabama and you have basically nothing but 5 star recruits it’s impossible to play and win on the strength of physical defense.

Things seem WAY too slanted towards offense. Remember when Stanford pushed around Oregon back in the day? Physical, control the line, control the Clock? It’s impossible to do that nowadays outside Tuscaloosa.

It’s why what happened to Michigan was so frustrating- if THAT defense can give up 62...

And Clemson’s with that pass rush....... 500+ yards and 5 scores? what hope is there to stop anyone unless you basically stack the deck like Saban?
