Riley Sheahan is a major disappointment

It's impressive, really. Even face-punchers and AHL call ups find themselves on the end of a fortuitous bounce or gimme tap-in every now and then.

Tanner Glass has a goal.
Jordan Tootoo has a goal.
Mark Borowecki has a goal.
Chris Neil has a goal.

Names like Pontus Aberg, Iiro Pakarinen, Jujhar Kharia -- people I've literally never heard of -- all have goals this season.

Yet having taken 98 shots during almost 1000 minutes of action, Riley Sheahan is still without a goal.

Hopefully a goalie will score before the season lets up. That would be hilarious.

Jonas Gustavsson just scored in the A, does that count?

Jonas Gustavsson has more goals in 16 AHL games than Riley Sheahan has in 72 NHL games.

Only two more weeks and Riley Sheahan will be officially goal-free for an entire calendar year. Congrats, Riley - if goals were alcohol, that would be a big accomplishment!

Yea, that's pretty awesome. The best is the Hawk's postseason slogan of ONE GOAL, totally getting shredded. #:prayemoji:ONEGOAL

Man in retrospect....he was a fairly bad pick.
He was an okay pick. The first 2 seasons he looked like a steady 30-40 point #3C with the potential for more. It just seems like Blashill can't push the guy to perform like Babcock did.
