Shocking that Nash is going to retire early... Mr. Oblivious will be a much better hockey player retired instead of wasting everyone's time and money.
Bye cya later
If you don't think players are slow to return to form after concussions even when cleared... well, we've only seen that much for decades now.Was he playing the playoffs concussed as well?
The Blue Jackets have touched base with some of the top talents on the market. Sources told The Athletic they made a contract offer to Rick Nash before Nash informed NHL teams that he would wait to decide on playing in 2018-19 and beyond. They also made contact, sources said, with representation for James Van Riemsdyk, who had 36 goals for Toronto last season.
Everyone else had good things to say about him or wish him well but a few choose to go low, some fans - I dunno, oh wait a sec your bio says proud leaf fanFriendly reminder the Bruins gave up a 1st + for this guy lol
The guy cant score anymore but he always seems to try hard, I doubt effort level will be a problem if he decides to playIf I'm a GM, why would want to sign a player who "unsure" about playing? Even fewer teams are interested now.
John Shannon does not know what "taking the high road" means.
I'd guess accepting a contract while being injured so he can collect LTIR money
It's not taking the high road to not want to sustain head trauma so serious that you cannot function well enough to continue your career.
No but it is to turn down guaranteed money, in the form of $15M, if you feel you can't compete at the level you should be to earn that money.
Do you think that's why he didn't sign anywhere? They were offering him too much money?
