Every team has 2 goalies that doesn't mean there aren't teans that need a goalie

Two goalies on one way contracts.

Ottawa can use a goalie, but I don't think a 32 year old James Reimer fits into the long-term or short term plan. Why would Ottawa give up assets for a guy making 3M in extra salary and only signed for one year.

If someone wants to send Ottawa a goalie their age should start with a "2", they should cost less than 5M, and and they should be appreciably better than Nilsson and Hogberg.

Because while his cap hit is 3M, his salary this year after we have already paid his bonus is 850K. This means he fills 2M in cap that doesn't come out of the owner's pocket. That may be desirable for this next year for some teams. Then after next year, he's gone.
