Similar to most of your lineups.

Tangs-Cammy-Iginla
Glenny-Cerevenka-Hudler
Baertschi-Backlund-Stempniak
Jackman-Stajan-Comeau

Bouwmeester-Wideman
Giordano-Sarich
Butler-Brodie

Kipper
Irving

I think they'll slot Cerevenka as the #2C and see how he does and adapts to the NHL, if he does well I can see him and Cammy switching.

If he does play well, I could see Hartley sending down Tanguay to centre the 2nd line, while sending Cammy to the left wing.

Baertschi-Cervenka-Stempniak
Jackman-Stajan/Jones-Comeau

I like Backlund with Glencross and Hudler, I think that could be good.

I don't like Backlund with Baertschi, too much inexperience on one line considering such a veteran lineup.

Swapping Hudler and Stempniak would work too, if you wanted to stick the Czechs together.

This will be good to use tangs at center. Not because he is a face off specialist or anything but because he see's the ice better than anyone on our team. He has the legs and endurance. His biggest obstacle like he said will be timing. Same problem Cammy had when they moved him over.

He is more than capable of playing that role and I don't think he needs to overhaul his style of play. Just timing and obviously his positional play. If he gets good, can't be any worse than our current line up down the middle and it does sort of solve a log jam on LW.

And to add to that we have a coach who will dress forwards playing offense. Not 17 defensemen, 1 goalie and 1 Iggy.

It will be certainly be a nice change of pace.

Also, I wouldn't be opposed a Backlund-Baertschi combo. Could be a kid line of sorts, especially if they stick Horak or Nemisz on the other wing.

I would kinda like to see them play with a goal scorer like Hudler to give them a target for play making as they are both pass first players.

That's not a bad idea either. Maybe stick Cammalleri there for a time too, if the first line isn't clicking.

We're still too thin at centre; this is going to continue to be a major problem for us. Cervenka won't be ready for camp as per Feaster. I'd really rather not have Backlund or Stajan on that second line.

I think we are all forgetting what Stajan proved he could do when put on a line with talent. He is a solid #2/#3. I think he will do just fine with wingers like Hudler and Baertschi.
