Problem with Nuge and Faulk is,

I don't see which side adds...

I can make arguments about both sides,

Nuge is legit (1C potential) and would look good next to Skinner.

So I guess Carolina would add, but what's going back?

Lmfao. Wait. What?

You ARE aware that RNH is in his 7th season and has played over 400 games, right?

If you don't like it, at least say why.

A post like this does nothing.
A 3/4 D, a low end 1c/high end 2c and a blue chip prospect for a #1 defenseman and a bad player.
The value there is incredibly off, you need a good player on your side to balance it out.
Especially with OEL only having this season and next year left under contract. If it was a signed OEL, then it would be closer but the all that for potentially a season and a half of a player thats having a rough year isn't good value. Especially between division rivals.

People constantly forget how young RNH is. Despite his having played 400 games, he's the same age as Victor Rask. Would you consider Rask a finished product?

Pretty close one and he is barely an adequate 2C. RNH is better but at this point expecting him to blossom into a 1C is a long-shot. Nothing wrong with just being a good 2C though. Those are still valuable. Montreal would love to have one lol.

Leafs make you an offer that you can't refuse.

Connor McDavid

Why the Leafs do it?
Because we feel bad for McDavid.

Why the Oilers do it?
ELITE LW, ELITE Pro, ELITE Diet, ELITE Coachability, ELITE Hustle, ELITE Forechecking, ELITE PK, ELITE Leadership, ELITE Authorship. The man has been a fixture on an up and coming playoff contender for two years now. He is the bestest of all the pros in the Leafs lineup. Babcock loves him more than he loves his own children. He is a winner through and through and he can single handedly elevate the Oilers to a level the likes of Connor McDavid never could.

EDIT: Forgot to mention he really loves his family and he lives right.

Klefbom as a 3/4 defenseman makes sense, RNH isn't a great option as a 1C and at times he would be a lower end 3C. Yamamoto is not a blue chip propect, he's got potential but he's not a sure thing.

I don't think that the original package would get OEL on his own, and its likely that there will be better options out there.

Agree RNH isn’t a true number 1 center but on no team in this league is he a lower end 3C he has been the Oilers best forward outside of Mcdavid to bad he got hurt, but on the positive side at least Chia can’t trade him for trash now.

, alrighty then. Can't wait for the trifecta garbage return (Hall, Eberle, and now RNH). Your GM is Chiarelli, and he's bad with trading big name players. I consider RNH to be one of them.

Oilers GM need to be more careful giving out contracts like christmas presents - they need to start to look at production related to contract value.

I just know the moves they're going to make are just going to mess up the team in the long run financially and damage the franchise. It will just be like the Lightning from 2008-2010.

Only way out of the mess is proper building, better scouting, better choices, and most importantly getting rid of Chiarelli and hiring a guy similar to Brian Burke to fix this team.
