sheeeesh. thats a blow. Someone is getting a steal in the second round.
Either way he's still Ranked #12 by Sam Cosentino Sportsnet’s 2020 NHL Draft Prospect Rankings: December - Sportsnet.ca
Could have that drop Joe Veleno, Raphael Lavoie had I wouldn't be surprised.
He’ll definitely fall, I mean look at Krebs this year (who you could argue was a higher-regarded prospect than Barron is.) I personally think his fall could be quite dramatic, as he wasn’t blowing it away before this injury.
I agree. There is a good chance he could fall to 3rd/4th round.
There is not a chance in hell he falls that far. None.I agree. There is a good chance he could fall to 3rd/4th round.
As you can see i exaggerate a bit. There is not a chance in hell he falls that far. None.
That’s two projected top-10 QMJHL players taken out by injury.
I doubt he’ll slip out of the top 20. He should turn into a Petry or McAvoy type of blue liner with very little time in the AHL.
Pick one they are both talented two way defencemen that shouldn’t run first power play units. Those are two very different level players.
He’s been back for the last four road games. Playing good. Actually looks stronger. Not playing the massive amount of minutes that he was before the blood clot issues.Supposedly cleared . Anyone know if he is back in the lineup or when he is due back?
Barron set to return to Mooseheads lineup | The Telegram
agreed...his skating was way above everyone on the ice, took the ice end to end at will and created a bunch of offense, too bad the rest of the team looks like major midget players...there were a ton of scouts in the crowd...James Malatesta looked great for Quebec....overall the game was sloppy but Barron showed his amazing talent...with his blood clot this year, he is very very under rated by arm chair scouts on here lol.Really good game out of Barron last night. If any scouts were around I’m sure he impressed. End to end rushes multiple times and an abundance of ice time. Also covering up for a wealth of mistakes by the entire team. Another fantastic goalie display out of McLaren
