The dynamic between Vince McMahon and Triple H is reportedly something everyone is talking about internally in WWE. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Shane McMahon’s return, and recent changes to WrestleMania 32 storylines, have both lead to an increase in backstage chatter about the McMahon family drama. The Observer reports that Vince does not like being perceived as the old out-of-touch guy who needs to step aside so Triple H can take over.

The speculation within WWE right now is reportedly that if Shane does take on an executive role in the company, Vince could be playing him against Triple H and Stephanie. It gets hard to tell how much of the Vince-Triple H tension is exaggerated, but it is known that Shane did have issues with Triple H and Stephanie that lead to him leaving the company in 2009. Shane left WWE after he found out his sister and Triple H would eventually be taking over the company instead of him.

Aside from any heat he may have with Vince and Shane, Triple H also drew criticism from some WWE employees for not “selling†his beating from Roman Reigns back in December. In the days after the angle with Reigns at TLC, Triple H was making appearances to promote NXT and not selling any injuries.

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is reportedly not a big fan of his NXT brand. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported this week that McMahon perceives NXT as a touring product and nothing more. McMahon reportedly feels that most of the NXT roster can’t draw money for his company because he doesn’t see them as “stars.”

A lot of NXT talent would like a spot on the main WWE roster so they can earn more money, but the feeling in the locker room is that NXT is more fun. According to The Wrestling Observer, NXT talent took notice of how Tyler Breeze was treated after he arrived on the main roster. Some of the locker room was reportedly disgruntled after Breaking Ground built up Breeze’s move to the main roster, only for him to be treated like a “jobber” on WWE television.

WWE is expected to make another round of aggressive talent signings from Japan, Mexico and the U.K. over the next few months. The name we heard they are most interested in is Kazuchika Okada, as apparently the key people in charge just found out that he’s tall. New Japan has offered Okada a five-year contract. We don’t know if the deal has been executed and Okada has publicly said he’s loyal to New Japan.

Kevin and Vince found out he's tall, so now they want him

Unless WWE throws so much money at him that it would be stupid for him to pass up, he's not coming. He's already tweeted he's never coming to WWE but it is wrestling and money talks sometimes.

Yeah, I don't think he's going to the WWE any time soon. He's just become 'the guy' in NJPW, and they're willing to give him good money and a long contract. I think he's better off staying there, at least for now.

But never say never.

Vince didn't think CM Punk could make him money until he let him have a microphone.

Vince still thinks the look = money.

It sounds like WWE is planning something unique for The New Day’s entrance at the biggest pay-per-view of the year. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that one of WWE’s ideas for a “big entrance†for the group at WrestleMania 32 is to have them fly around the stadium on “unicorns.†There was no mention of how WWE would achieve that effect, and Meltzer reports that there’s less than a 50% chance of it happening.

Vince doesn't like NXT? Well, it is fair to say that he doesn't like wrestling then.
Wrestling has always been secondary in the WWF/E. Ever since it got big. And the reality is, wrestling isn't actually that important. Just look at the guys who have been "the guy" in the past.

Hogan wasn't good. Austin wasn't great. Rock wasn't good. Cena wasn't good. Reigns isn't good.

At no point were any of those guys ever the best in the company, they were vastly overshadowed by someone else their entire careers as far as in-ring work goes. The important part was always charisma and character, and except Reigns, all those guy have it in extreme amounts.

All guys need to do is meet the minimum requirement as far as wrestling skill goes. Once they have that they can be carried by charisma into superstardom. That's the reality of it. People don't pay money to see good wrestling, they pay to see people they like wrestle.

It's the reverse of how we'd want things to work, but it's how it works. UFC is the same. People don't want to see good matches, they want to see the big stars fight.

The big difference is that Vince likes big guys, where as UFC will go with whoever is hot as their headliners. When Brock was there, he headlined. Now it's smaller guys and the women.

Of course they'd want Okada now that they know he's tall. Nevermind his actual talent.

I doubt he goes though.

I'd be absolutely shocked if Kazuchika Okada left NJPW. He's the heir apparent in that company once Tanahashi retires.
