Land of no calls..
So, he's not a 4th liner at this point is he? Adds more speed which is great, but I think the Rangers are going to move a body at some point.

Lineup when healthy:

Nash - Brass - Zucc
Kreider - Step - Miller
Gerbe - Hayes - Grabner
? - Lindberg - Fast
Glass

This is a signing I can get behind. Zero risk, and he's a solid depth player.

couple thoughts after the first couple signings.

- How's Gerbe on faceoffs?

- Two depth/special teams signings so far built for speed and penalties. Still need better defense and a decent goal scorer

We just got fair bit faster and also added 2 good PKing options. 2 areas we needed to address.

I'm not sure he's ever really played center as a pro, he has only taken a handful of draws in his NHL career. His numbers are correspondingly awful. A 5'4" guy isn't going to win many draws.

Between Gerbe and Grabner, the Rangers have at least attempted to address some issues: speed and PK. Both guys are fast and good PKers.

Now time to ship out Glass.

Woops, just asked based on wiki. Only took 5 faceoffs last year  my mistake

3 players that can help with depth and special teams for 2.5M total. Not a bad day so far. Let's just hope the overpriced, overaged vet signing doesn't happen and I'm content with UFA day.

sign Colbourne at C, maybe a depth D, and call it day. The bigger names will come in trades
