I guess this is an introductory post - long time lurker, first time poster!

A transplant New Yorker from Atlanta (this seems backwards, I know) who has just purchased season tickets Section 208, Row 22. Very excited to be a part of the Rangers fam! Saw this thread and wanted to give a perspective on my seats - high? Yes. But the one thing about MSG that I've noticed is that it's a tremendously smaller arena than the newer venues and that "height" is about mid-level at some other arenas so really feel like there's some value there at an average of $101 a seat. I've sat there previously and like the "perch" from a hockey POV.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone, and if there's anything that hasn't been covered as a good "need to know" in terms of being a STH, I'm all ears. LGR!

Welcome to the family! It's a good time to sign up...hopefully we have a nice road of meaningful hockey ahead of us.

Came back aboard as a season ticket holder and paying with a chase credit card....was wondering what the gift has been in past years for paying with a Chase card and if on payment plan does every payment have to be made with a chase card

My rep said only first payment has to be on a chase card.

I suppose they are still working out whether there will be an olympics break. Do we know if the divisions will go back to normal?

Before the Cup Final, Bettman met with the media and said there will be two schedules, one with Olympics and one without Olympics. Season will open mid-October. The speculation is October 12th is opening night for the league.

It should come out within the next few weeks. It's usually right after the draft ends, but with there being a two week lull potentially between the draft and the end of the season (hopefully tonight), I could see it happening sooner.

This was reported on that day:

I would think they would want to have it out before the expansion draft or the very next day, maybe let Seattle announce their opener at the expansion draft since it is a big event for a new team and the league.

Does anyone have season tickets on the bridge first row? I have some questions. Thanks!

I have Knicks season tickets there.

Does anyone know what the tenured ticket price is for bridge seats? Thanks.

Just curious if you guys (ak3 and Bklyn8) pulled the trigger on bridge seats (and if so, where).

sbjnyc, does the glass in front of you interfere with your view at all? Other than being higher up, any negatives about the seats?

I hope you & your family have been doing well & staying healthy!

I wanted to reach out to remind you that I can always help with New York Knicks’ season memberships here at MSG. If you or anyone you know are interested in a season ticket plan, please feel free to reach out as we still have some great inventory available.

And as always, if you personally have a need for more season tickets (up to 4 full seasons per account allowed) or have friends/family/coworkers/etc. interested in a Rangers membership, I am happy to assist with that as well.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer & I cannot wait to be back at MSG in the fall! Please don’t hesitate to give me a call or shoot me an email/text if you need anything!

The glass doesn't interfere. It's not one solid pane of glass (its not actually glass I don't think) but I don't think the small gaps interfere with the view. My seats are center court and the scoreboard is right in front of me. The seats are tight and I don't think you have cup holders (its been a while since I've been able to sit in my seats). If you don't like heights the row 1s may not be for you. That said, I don't like heights but I'm used to the seats. I've actually contemplated moving to the row 2s or barstools.

That view is incredible. (Though I don't think center ice row 1 is available.) Have you contemplated moving back just because of the dislike of heights? My initial reaction is the row 1s would be greatly preferred, but I could be missing something.

I took the picture standing to avoid the glass in front of the seats. But Like I said, it's a tight fit for you and anything you have (jacket, backpack etc) and any food or drinks. And the height can make you a bit uncomfortable. I decided not to move back for the knicks but next season if I cut my 4 seats to 2 I might take a pair on the bridge row 2 or barstools depending on whats available.

Ive sat in the chase bridges a few times. I personally decided not to buy seasons there because of the glass. Personally, I think they’re phenomenal seats and I’m sure I’ll buy singles there again, but I wouldn’t want season tickets there. Just my personal opinion. If you’re unsure, it might not be smart to tie yourself down for a full season.

Wooooh welcome to the 208 club!! Come say Hi, I've been in Row 15 since the renovation, right against the wall!

I can show you a bathroom nobody knows about, never any lines.

And Row 22, those are going to be great in Section 208 because I think there's only 3 seats total in that row! Do you have all 3 seats?

Nice to meet you, neighbor! Will for sure come say hello. Any tips (and special bathroom locations) that you have are always welcome!

I actually only have 2 seats, so, I guess it will be interesting to see who purchases a single every game.

Will be sure to link up closer to the season. Excited to be in a full building all season-long!

Weren't we also supposed to get a $150 (?) food credit?

Had to check old emails, but in early Covid if you let them keep your money on file instead of getting the cash, seems like it.

Alternatively, we are also offering you the opportunity to credit the above amount against your season tickets. Your next installment on a 2020-21 New York Rangers Membership is scheduled to be automatically processed this Friday, May 15th. Instead of processing that charge, we will simply credit your account and your next cash payment will be on June 15th. In addition, you will be given your choice of any one of three gift options: $150 food and beverage credit, $150 MSG Store credit, or an autographed stick. If you would like to apply the 2019-20 postponed game credit to the 2020-21 season and receive one of the above free gifts, please click here*.

I'm sure you'll get the credit. I opted for the stick (don't buy much gear, only buy beer which I confirmed is not included in the food/bev credit) and it showed up a couple of weeks ago. It will probably be tied into your digital account holder card somehow.
