The Kraken had the talent last year...injuries hit them hard and that aweful road trip at the beginning practically put them out right off the bat.

Scary approach to take but it worked. In the last ten minutes, Colorado was absolutely gassed. Grubauer was superb; Bjorkstrand played the game of his life and will be a huge asset going forward now that he is healthy; Larsson anchored the D brilliantly; and Gourde and Tanev did what they have done all season. Everybody else played their hearts out, too. I'm proud to be a fan of this team.

I think the key to this game was surviving the first period barrage from Colorado. They easily could've given up a few goals with all of that offensive zone time that Colorado had.

And incidentally, a historic night for the NHL. The greatest upset in Stanley Cup history followed a few hours later by one of the greatest upsets in Stanley Cup history. You can't make this stuff up.

That's the best part, he's elevated his game for the post season and was consistent throughout the series, dude's certainly our mvp so far.
