Tom dosent own General Fanager anymore. He sold it to the Nation Network, they'll likely keep it running but just with out Tom.

Why doesn't the NHL run a site like this on their own? Surely they know there is demand for it among fans and teams alike.

General Fanager was pretty good, but I use nhlnumbers.com for cap info. I like their layout. It's not fancy, but it's easy to read.
capgeek did all the work and others are reaping the rewards.
Remember this guy saying on a podcast that he wasn't interested in using his site to get an NHL job. Obviously full of ****. Maybe this will get people to actually use CapFriendly which is far better and actually has a Armchair GM tool rather than acting like General Fanager was the only thing that existed.

I believe Bettman was asked about this once and he said something to the effect of, "The fans don't care about that stuff."Why doesn't the NHL run a site like this on their own? Surely they know there is demand for it among fans and teams alike.
