The reason he got the job is because of the website. It showed his knowledge on the Cap world.

No I am giving him **** for specifically saying he wasn't looking to get an NHL job in July and then taking an NHL job in October. Check this @ 35:00 minute mark.



He also talked earlier about war on ice being shut down after they left for NHL jobs and said it sucked that the site was shut down, about how much he loved managing his site, and how he wanted to take over the void that Capgeek left over (which was an important site to him). So much for that.

How could that help him get a NHL job?

Las Vegas seems pretty confident that it helped him get an NHL job. Cause you know..they gave him one. NHL teams value people with cap knowledge and have poached several people from the advanced stats community who then had to shut down their sites. Hopefully the people that own Capfriendly aren't just waiting for an call from an NHL GM to shut things down.

It's a F BS move by Poraszka, he could have the site running and been functional for another week so the visitors was informed what's going on with the website instead of shutting it down immediatley.

The Wuest family let CapGeek run for a week or so after the announcement that Matthew Wuest had died so nothing came as a complete shock for the visitors when the website was closed for good...
