No team was willing to give Ryan Carter an NHL contract (even the Devils themselves)? Unless I'm missing something & his play really dipped quickly I always thought he was very solid fourth liner.
Looks more like he did to start last year. His back issues clearly messed his skating in a big way...the question is, is he really healed, or just relatively fresh?

So based on the preseason so far it's looking like Lecavelier is taking Hartnells spot on the 1st PP. I'd rather see Schenn there but if Lecavelier can work there then great.
