Zinbads last 3 years in Ottawa looked like this:

2013-2014 69 GP - 16 G - 17 A - 33 Pts = 0,48 PPG
2014-2015 80 GP - 20 G - 26 A - 46 Pts = 0,58 PPG
2015-2016 81 GP - 21 G - 30 A - 51 Pts = 0,63 PPG
TOTAL 230 GP - 57 G - 73 A - 130 Pts = 0,57 PPG

Considering that he is replacing Derick Brassard - that put up these numbers the past 3 years:

2013-2014 81 GP - 18 G - 27 A - 45 Pts = 0,56 PPG
2014-2015 80 GP - 19 G - 41 A - 60 Pts = 0,75 PPG
2015-2016 80 GP - 27 G - 31 A - 58 Pts = 0,73 PPG
TOTAL 241 GP - 64 G - 99 A - 163 Pts = 0,68 PPG

I would like to see something like this:
80 Gp - 25 G - 40 A - 65 Pts = 0,81 PPG

Anything better in his first year is a real big plus IMO (especially considering us getting a second rounder from them as well)

But I think we can expect to see something closer to this:
82 Gp - 23 G - 33 A - 56 Pts = 0,68 PPG

75 points (0,91 PPG) and we make out like bandits
Do not see that.

Time will tell...

Mika scoring 75 is nuts. It would be amazing, but seems highly unlikely.

The word "chemistry" gets thrown around here so much, and I think it's completely misunderstood. Zibanejad does not have chemistry with anyone on this team, and it's comical to suggest that. He's a player on a new team with something to prove, and is playing good hockey with another player who has something to prove in the preseason.

I think the last time the Rangers truly had a line with chemistry was Jagr - Nylander - Straka. Two talented players simply having success with each other (Brassard and Zucc) is not chemistry. If you go back and watch that Jagr line you will see what I mean.

Eh, the Jagr line was just INSANE chemistry, like to an extreme. Players do have chemistry...Zucc and Brassard absolutely had some nice chemistry between them. Oh and don't forget my username ;)

Gotta keep in mind the game was different in 2005-06. The rules were called so much tighter and it let the skilled players (Europeans and smaller guys) actually maneuver and have time to skate and make plays. That's why the Rangers had so much success that year, the skilled guys Jagr, Nylander, Straka, Rucinsky, Sykora, and to a lesser extent Pruhca and Hossa had time to do the above (and Lundqvist and Weekes were great).

The thing was the game still had those big ogre DMen like Derian Hatcher, Hal Gill, Niklas Grossman, and Douglas Murray because you just don't eliminate that from the culture after being in the game since the mid-70s. But now that type of player is basically extinct.

As for Zibe, I doubt he comes to the Rangers and gets 75 points. I'll take 50 (23-27) and maybe 60 if his wingers finish.
