Looks like it. Junior isn't a place for kids to be humbled. They're worshiped and if they're on the good teams, they can coast quite a bit.

Reading thru the Knights thread it appears a FEW fans have a mad on for Domi. Literally every game the same posters are pointing out every mistake Domi makes. Domi is a puck hog. He only cares about his stats. blah blah blah.

They are even blaming him for coaches decisions to put him on a line with Marner and Dvorak.

In the OHL coaches rankings Domi fared very well...getting votes for fastest skater, best skater, best stickhandler and best shot.

I think he will be fine. He will look great on a line with Hanzal next season.

Yeah honestly the key is making sure Reider and Boeds are not on the same line. Both can shoot. Just need to get the puck where they can shoot to score.

If we draft a McEichel I'd like to see

Domi-Hanzal-Boeds
Reider-McEichel-Ganger
Doan-UFA-Duclair
Lessio-Viatle-UFA
Chip

Nice mix of vets and youth. No one line is easily beatable. The following season you can make way for Perlini and move Duclair up. But I don't want to see the kids being exploited early on by grouping too many together. It's crazy what this roster looks like with one McEichel next season. Too many forwards to know what to do with (aka Korpi being left off)

I won't be surprised if Domi and Duclair start the year in A together. Tip will see Lessio and Samuelsson as more ready and won't want too many rookies on opening night.

UWT thanks for posting that...I certainly did not think it was that many out of favour with Domi (I recognize 5 pr 6 names in your list).

Here's hoping Domi, Dvorak and co have a good playoff run and Domi re-earns some respect.

I was hoping we would sign him. Seemed like he could provide depth.

Anyone else remember 10 to 12 years ago when an undrafted defenseman named Mark Giordano impressed at camp? If I remember correctly we told him we would like him to play one more year in junior before offering a contract. He did, and then accepted an offer from Calgary instead.
