PREDATORS (33-32-11) at DUCKS (50-18-8)

TV: SPSO, PRIME

Last 10: Nashville 5-4-1; Anaheim 7-2-1

Season series: This is the third and final game between the Nashville Predators and Anaheim Ducks. The first two games were road wins for the Ducks, with Ryan Getzlaf figuring in six of their nine goals (four goals, two assists).

Big story: A third-period comeback against the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday allowed the Ducks to reach 50 wins for the first time in franchise history. With six games remaining, their goal is to lock down the Pacific Division title and try to catch the St. Louis Blues for first in the Western Conference.

I'd settle for an entertaining game, no more mushed heads for our youngsters, and perhaps Perry stepping in front of a Weber blast.

What we probably get is whipped in this back-to-back, then win out, and instead of the 6th pick we end up 11th.

Ducks 5-1, Dickie with a breakaway goal.

Any reliable word on lines? The sight I used did not update for some reason.

WILSON!! That is something he needs to do more of.

He's one of probably 2/3 forwards on this team that can do that

I'm assuming it's

Wilson between Spaling and Stalberg
Jarnkrok between Smith and Bourque
Cullen between Fisher and Hornqvist
Sisson between Clune and Nystrom

That's for the time being. By the end of the night it'll be something like

Cullen between Spaling and Hornqvist
Clune between Jarnkrok and Bourque
Nystrom between Sissons and Fisher
Wilson between Stalberg and Smith

edit: oops forgot Goose is hurt. It's been a long couple of weeks...

Refs call a penalty on Smith for being run into at the blueline while trying to get back onside

Good call, refs.

Smith inadvertently ran into Lindholm, but still, a weak call. Ah well, there goes smith's ice time for the rest of the game.

Watch wilson get a hattrick and the preds still manage to choke it away by the end of the game.

I was just about to say, right before that goal, that Wilson is playing a very nice game tonight!! Solid checks and carrying the puck in the zone! And then he scores, again! Very nice Mr. Wilson, very nice!!
