Also liked Cracknell. Should be in for Sbisa but we know thats not happening. Deserves a call up at the very least.

Sbisa had a pretty solid game tonight actually....for a defenseman...as opposed to Cracknell, who is a forward.

The reflex hate is pretty pathetic.

I think they were going for a lot more than Bartkowski.

Well to me he's looked really really good this preseason. Terrific skating and puck movement, solid defensively. I think with Ballard they were looking for a puck-moving defenseman who can play in your top 4, and that's what Bart looks like.

Biega handles bigger bodies better than he handles speed on the forecheck.

Solid outing for him anyways.

McDavid - Hall are going to ruin us for the future. The puck literally follows McDavid around the ice.

The 1st line and Hutton had stellar games. We beat the Oilers, without our best 5 players (well Horvat debatable).

Hutton and Bartkowski at this point are both upgrades over Bieksa, so when GM JB said we upgraded on D, i don't think he lied.

Sedin - Sedin - Vrbata
Baertschi - Horvat - Virtanen
Burrows - Sutter - Hansen
Higgins - McCann - Dorsett
Prust

Edler - Tanev
Hamhuis - Weber
Bartkowski - Hutton
Sbisa

Markstrom
Miller

That's a team I could be interested in.

Canucks will be way better than last year if they cut/bench the right players.

Oilers D is still garbage. can't believe people think they'll finish ahead of us.

Biega has impressed me. I wouldn't mind him getting some time with Weber/Sbisa at this point to see how he does in the NHL after a training camp/pre-season.

I only watched the 3rd period, but this is the best I've seen of Sbisa. I particularly liked when he broke Pooliot's stick and stared right at him, and the ref couldnt call him because Poopiepot just hooked him.

Dunno why everyone is so sure McDavid is gonna wreck us for years.

Clearly this game showed we have some great young talent and the future is brighter than it's been in a long time.

he needs to play with a steady partner. Bieksa was a bigger problem than most people want to admit. worst player on the team last year.

That's a damn good lineup. We may or may not make the playoffs, but it would be fun to watch at least.
