The Habs lost gm 1 in double OT, and gm 2 to Tampa Bay & their two callups Watson & Lee in a loopy game of refereeing 101. Which these ref's obviously missed the classes and overcome their deficiencies with name calling 201, which is their forte. How on earth can our team win, when the players that are playing well in the 1st period, get 3 penalties to make sure they are cancelled out of the action. As Galchenyuk did in game 1 and Prust in game 2 after assisting Petry's goal to start the game. Momentum is a huge part of hockey and ref's can really play havoc with bad calls against a team that has the crowd priming them, one bad call takes the crowd out of it, a few just empties the emotion as it has these first two games, IMHO.

I just hope he changes our centre core. It's been the same since 11-12 and the Habs won't be going anywhere with that core.

This is true. The teams depth at centre ice is the teams greatest weakness.
They also need to diversify their lineup. Too many role players....not enough players with creative offensive talent. The team is over loaded with role players with no offensive talent.

It would also be better to have a coach with a different coaching style. A coach that uses team speed and puck possession as its greatest weapon.
