I mentioned this in the other thread, honestly this just sucks.

I don’t want this season to end on a bad note, I really enjoyed a majority of the season.

And I like a lot of players, but it’s pretty obvious we need to have some serious changes.

But guys like hunt, seeing the positivity they bring, I love guys like that man.

Benning just completely screwed this franchise, pretty much as anyone with half a brain predicted last summer.

Management has an impossible task moving forward. Currently sitting with the 14th overall pick, firmly in no-mans land. Immovable contracts, near rock-bottom prospect pool, no first round pick the last two years, no second round pick this year.

That OEL deal was just a franchise killer. To think Benning paid a premium to take it on too. It's going to take years to wash his stink off.

Wr seriously need to tank for 2 years. They need the time to undo the damage caused by Benning. It’s blatantly evident in the last few games. When both teams are desperate we just can’t match up.

The most annoying thing about the SN broadcast tonight was the whole "magical 95 points" intermission snowjob they ran. I appreciate they were trying to let down the die-hards gently, but it's been extremely optimistic for several weeks now to hope that 95 points was enough to secure the final playoff spot.

The Canucks need to go 11-1-1 over their remaining 13 games to hit 96 points. And that still might not be enough to get in.

It's time to change this thread title again.

They're still in the playoff hunt as of March 26...playing meaningful games.....Not bad for what you claimed was just a 'bad team'....

Playoffs or not..these guys have put in a gutsy performance...

Spent to the max, one of the worst prospect pools, no top picks in recent years, lost a 2nd this year, cash strapped with an excessively underperforming expensive midpair dman for 5 more years... not sure how youll justify it this time bub...

I heard today Dallas is on pace for 97 pts so that's the bar, might need 98 to get in, no idea how accurate these projections end up being but I wonder.
Hopefully someone else has already looked into it
