Mob Manfred is killing baseball and this is just another nail in the coffin. Owners need to remove him ASAP

Losing a season just because of money is such a bad look. The NHL did the same thing in 2004 and you could very much argue they still haven't recovered from that fiasco.

I get it, COVID is a thing but the other two sports coming back in the summer have more physical contact and yet they seem okay to do so. What's your excuse?

This could be made even worse considering they're going to need to negotiate a CBA in the not too distant future. If you thought players were mad now, wait until they get stiffed in free agency next year.

Manfred works for the owners and is doing their bidding, why would they remove him?

Just curious if the season is cancelled does that mean the Astros get off scott free or is that suspension delayed for next season (Whenever that will be)

Everything in the most recent proposal is reasonable and MLB has made concessions to the players

The players should just accept this and move on. Everyone wants to see ball this year.

As the tweet above shows, they absolutely have NOT.

Owners have no intent to actually negotiate, this whole thing is a farce.

That comment was made before his more elaborative tweet. Now that we know more detail we know it's not good.

LOL still neither side is really trying

Owners are stuck on 33%, players are stuck on 100% prorated

Yeah, that's interesting how the original terminology of that is.

Owners only care about one thing, make sure people think it's the players' fault if there is no season. 48-game season is a complete farce. It's pretty clear they don't want a season.

Players shouldn't give up an inch.
