Curtis Jones is gonna captain that side before long. I would guess Hendo has a couple seasons in and around the team, and maybe Virgil takes it before that. But I’d wager if Jones is good enough, he’s captain one day

Draw was fair for United and Chelsea. Neither showed enough attacking quality to win the game. James was probably United's best attacker, needed it to be Bruno or Rashford to win the game. Lindelof, Shaw and de Gea with important blocks and save. McTom should have done a lot better with the counter at the end.

I think I said last season that it wouldn't surprise me if Jones was our best midfielder by end of this season (that was before we bought Thiago of course, though that hasn't exactly gone swimmingly). I'm glad he's showing his worth and that he's among the top tier of English young talents. He's got a rare combination of work rate, skill and confidence. I also think I'd put him as captain over Trent.

I will say quite easily that EPL have the worst refering authorities in all pro sport (that I follow).
They have no consistency from game to game and week to week. Such stupid policies regarding hand ball, offside, red card and constant change of ruling. The VAR is a trainwreck and inconsistent from game to game. Not to mention no accountability or conformity committee.
They are basicaly a mafia with no apparent direction.
