What the blimey f*** was Saiss doing on that challenge? That ball and City player were in no threat to score and he just goes into IDGAF mode.

Wait, the premier league is already back?

That was a short break from 2019-20 to 2020-21

Wolverhampton tactics are all wrong. Do not resemble the team that did you he double on City last season. Guess they miss Diogo Jota (probably) :)

they Are playing way too much on their back foot, aren’t challenging City at all. No aggression.

Having Traore play as a RWB might have something to do with that as well. Too far back to counter.

They aren't exploiting the spaces City leaves behind their attackers like they did last year. Need to stretch the pitch more and make those direct passes into that space. Jota definitely helped them exploit that, and Traore is sitting back a lot more.

Yeah that’s definitely part of it. I get that Wolves are short at RWB right now but it’s very insane to play your best player out of position to accommodate that.

I mean you can’t do continuously beat the same team over and over. At some point they will get over the hump. Plus city’s quality it’s a matter of time.

You can see the difference here with Traore playing wingback instead of as a winger, he just doesn't have the space to power behind the last defender and make a cross from.
