I finished the second half of that Chelsea/Liverpool match and I must say that Werner dived like Mane on that penalty there, disgraceful.

His heel got clipped and it pushed it over into his planted leg. He carried on for another step to attempt a shot.

It was basically the opposite of a dive.

It's not a dive when you're fouled.
People need to understand this.
The reaction makes it a dive. Not the foul. He’s trying to influence the official. He wasn’t stomped on.

Nope that's embellishment.
I mean, what’s the difference. If you are embellishing to get a PK or the player carded, that’s a dive in my book. But of you don’t agree, that’s okay too

Embellishing : sell a foul when there's a foul, even slight foul.
Dive : fall to the ground in hopes of a foul when there's none.

Isn’t “falling....When there’s none” the same as ‘selling’?

but anyway we don’t have to agree on the definition. This unwritten stuff in like the old adage on pornography. I don’t know how to define it, but I know it when I see it

Wow, massive save.

Nice pass but not a penalty for me
They called far softer ones last season, including ones with blatant dives but because there was slight contact they called it a foul and a penalty. If they didn't call this it would show that they have no standards.
