As soon as Sullivan's loverboy comes off IR (ZAR) he will bump one of these guys to press box.

No, he is a winger. But he is by far and away the best player in this deal.Sabres fan. Can Kahun play center? Thanks
The one positive is that we didn't part with Poulin or Legare. Legare I believe just had B2B hat tricks in the ''Q''.
The moral of this trade IMO is that you should never get attached to depth players, because there are only about 4 players on the Penguins who are absolutely safe from being traded and you shouldn't be getting super mad that they traded a 2nd/3rd line tweener for 2 3rd liners.
I'm very high on both of these guys. And this is kind of a big deal. With the years they have had, their value goes up. I still think with Poulin, there is an outside shot they give him all the opportunity to make the team next year. On one of the In The Room episodes, the scouting staff told JR, "He's not far away to be a contributor," despite what TSN guys said at the draft.
I don't know...I've been upset over deals like this before, and they turn out to be a big nothing burger a few years from now looking back.
At least nothing OVERLY stupid happend I was legit petrified there was Gudbranson level of absurdity a foot.
From what I’ve read he’s been underused and requested a trade. Plus this is a down year for him.Rodrigues is a 3rd liner? Guy has 3 more points than Ruhwedel.
People here play too much Chel. The Pens traded for two under the radar analytics darlings who have produced.
Worst deal ever.
But trading for the lottery ticket that never has done anything despite being given numerous chances who has now failed with two organizations?
Why weren't we in on some of that????

My issue with trading Kahun is the value or lack thereof we got back. It just doesn't jive with I see as fair value. And not that it affected us cap wise due to Jake being out, but we took on an extra four million dollars.
He's put up 25 and 29 points the past two years on a bad sabres team. This year he hasn't played as much and scoring is down. I could see it either way, he comes here and on a better team fits in and looks like a third liner, or doesn't beat out his competition so plays less minutes than he did in buffalo so puts up fewer points.Rodrigues is a 3rd liner? Guy has 3 more points than Ruhwedel.
Righting a wrong that never should have happened. You make this trade 11 out of 10.
Kahun probably had no value considering he was moved for Olli Maatta and now this.
TSN loves this trade. Said Kahun the best player out of the group, but penguins got familiarity with Sheary and depth matchups that will be very difficult to matchup against for opposing teams.
TSN really liked the 3rd line as Marleau - McCann - Tanev
seeing Evan Rodrigues react excitedly to the trade is nice

Of all the dumb hot takes I've seen, this one may take the cake. Sure, they'll be fired because they added depth at forward for a 1st, 3rd, Kahun, and Addison.
