How is the NHLPA not involved in this? Salary is tied to revenue. The yotes have had way more chances than like...any team....its affecting player salaries.

Really? How many opportunities have they had to operate under stable ownership in Glendale?

Did she say 700 online viewers for the December council meeting? 675 were probably viewing from Canada.

and if Coyotes are not ruining salaries in the NHL, then how in heck are the profitable owners okay with competing for free agents with the league they play in, who is running a team with their money?

How we got here ...

Come and listen to a story about a man named Moyes
A poor franchise owner, could not afford his toys,
Then one day, while the League did not see
Down from the North came a guy named JB

Balsillie that is, Blackberries, Bankruptcy.

Well all you need to know is JB's a billionaire,
Rodier said "Let's move away from there"
Said "Canada is the place it ought to be"
So they loaded up the truck to move to Ontari-

0, that is. Poutine, Make it Seven.

...

Is it time to say good by to Moyes and all he wrought.
One last thread to share our final thoughts.
Or will we all be back again to this locality
To have a heapin helpin of thread one hundred and three.

Part CIII that is. Set a spell, Let the next shoe drop.

Y'all leave us alone now, y'hear?.

Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
I'll never look into your eyes...again

This is the way the threads ends
This is the way the threads ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.

Part of me wants to see them stay for another year under NHL control just to see what happens when guys start getting offer sheets, teams should be able to fleece them, I have a hard time believing that the NHL can offer any long term deals that potential ownership would have to deal with.

On the other hand I think most of us just want to see this thing end in either way.

The NHL is not a long-term owner/solution.

Stop being so obtuse.
