In your head
Has anyone claimed that Danault is better offensively then Suzuki?

I'm asking you, because the last time you did not answer the question.

Do you think that they are close defensively ? If not, is the gap in defensive abilities higher than in the offensive abilities ?

If we trade Kovy and Drouin and Domi are still bad, are you ready to give Suzuki Tatar and Gally ?

I'm just curious. You are free to not answer.

NO NO and NO !!! :soap:
It's impossible , he can't and anyway, all his points were just pure luck, or because Gallagher did everything by himself - even when he wasn't playing because injured :eviltongu
Danault isn't good, he's nothing in this team and Bergevin should trade him to get a first round draft, a good ready blue prospect and another role player :madfire::madfire::madfire:
At least half of Danault’s point are pure leach points, example: that ugly pass he made to Tatar from behind the net, it hit the defender, Tatar used his wicked offensive skill to get that puck in the net. Danault gets a leacher point on an ugly low skill pass.

Jesus christ you need help. Not every point is based on a jaw dropping play. How about that assist where Danault draws a penalty and feeds Tatar for a sick pass in Vancouver? You are blind.

Bullshit, pure bullshit. That’s your only argument and it’s weak AF. He gets special treatment BECAUSE of biases in this province. What would happen if Danault AND Drouin were traded?? A meltdown that’s what. A complete f***ing meltdown. It’s the same reason the coach MUST speak a certain language, it doesn’t matter if he’s the best guy for the job. ONLY in this province, ONLY ON THIS TEAM. It’s bullshit!

You’re losing this argument BADLY, and it’s only going to get MUCH worse. You guys have nothing here, a big nothing burger. You guys are completely obsessed with Danault and it’s because of ONE reason and we all know it. The rest of us don’t f***ing care, he could be a f***ing Indian and we would be criticizing his play and where he is in the lineup in the same way. The difference is that if he had a different last name he wouldn’t be a huge Chou Chou because he wouldn’t qualify. That’s the problem in this province. That’s an old mentality that needs to die before we can catch up to the rest of the league.

He IS a good DEFENSIVE player. That’s it that’s all. His offense SUCKS. Open your eyes.

This statement describes Arturi Lehkonen well. But not Danault. There's a difference between sucking and being 2nd tier. Danault is a 2nd tier offensive player, no matter how little flash there is in his game offensively. And yes Lehkonen doesn't suck. But he's borderline 3rd tier and maybe 4th tier.

I think you might be confusing me with someone else, as I can't recall you ever asking me whether Suzuki was better then Danault offensively, and given in the post you just quoted I brought up the fact that no one has ever claimed that pretty much implies that I don't think Danault is better offensively then Suzuki.

That said there's more to being to being #1 center then just offence, but more importantly where we play Suzuki and with who he plays with shouldn't even be about who the best center is, it should be about what is best for Suzuki's development. And for now I don't think anointing Suzuki the #1 C and putting all that extra pressure on him is a smart move.

Pressure? What pressure? The season is lost. And Suzuki is a guy who thrives under pressure, he’s the real deal.

The same pressure every star/potential star player in Montreal faces, the pressure to be the saviour that almost single-handedly turn the teams fortunes around. We've seen it time and again, build the player up, only to turn on him a few seasons later when they don't live up to the impossibly high standards. Don't believe me, name the last star player who didn't have a very vocal group of fans calling him out?

There’s no saving this season and the sinking ship with Danault as a 1C. Suzuki is INFINITELY better than Danault and he’s a rookie. There’s no pressure on Suzuki that’s BS, and Suzuki can actually PRODUCE OFFENSE.

I've never claimed the season can be saved, but the pressurethat goes with being the #1 center doesn't only come from a need to win games.

Nice job thinking Gally is the only one playing through an injury. Poor guy, must have never ever happened to any athlete in the history of sports. Especially not danault who got hit in the face with a puck and left the game recently.
Boy are you 5'6 ? Cause I keep shooting high.
