Franco 0-4.

BUST

0-4 tonight, sounds like he'll fit in perfect :sarcasm:

3 in a row. That's a winning streak folks.

Congrats to Elvis Araujo on his first major league win, the phils just sent down old man McGowan earlier today so I wonder if this means Araujo is here to stay. If so it would be the 2nd player to make the team right from AA without spending any time in AAA as Odubel Herrera and Araujo never played above AA before this year.

Also congrats to Luis Garcia on what I believe is his first major league save. To think this guy was working at a hair salon and now he's in the majors and doing well so far.

Elvis looked pretty good tonight. consistent lefty in the bullpen is always a great asset.

phils get some good news on the farm, LHP Yoel Mecias is back from the DL, he was one of the phils top pitching prospects before the injury last year. Didn't hear too much about his injury this year but he's in Clearwater (A+) now so we'll see how it goes for him.

Speaking of Clearwater, Mark Leiter had another good outing last night, continues to put up good numbers along with another NCAA arm with major league bloodlines, Brandon Leibrandt. Going to be interesting to see who gets moved up in the next several weeks. A lot of the focus is on Crawford and Nola moving up but they have a few guys that they should challenge at a higher level.

I played against Leiter in college. He's old for the level, but I'm still surprised by what he's been doing.

well if he keeps this up he should be in Reading soon enough, he's 3rd in whip and 4th in era. I know he's not thought of too highly because he doesn't throw hard but it's interesting to see him having so much success and if he can carry that over to AA this year.

Franco's first MLB triple.

just missed a HR, he smashed that one.

Severino Gonzalez's spot in the rotation lines up with Billingsley's. Wonder if they call him up again. Playing at Coors Field could get ugly for him though.

Anyone else see this dick last night? I wasn't watching the Phillies game, and usually I like the perception and reputation of Philly fans being *******s...but come on, you don't rip the ball out of another Phillies fan's hand. Perhaps if she was a D-Bags fan, but even then.

Plenty of those macho *******s roaming around the city. Probably the same guy that takes up 2 parking spots or starts fights with fans from outside the city.
