This team hangs in for 3 quarters and then just collapses in the 4th. Considering the goal of the season, it's probably for the best.

Nerlens was really quiet tonight.

KJ McDaniels is a freak of nature. You better take it hard to the cup or he is swatting it. Don't think I've ever seen a guard as good as he is at it. He's going to be a really useful role player I believe.

Tony Wroten is a baffling player to me. He finds a way to stuff the stat sheet when he gets the minutes, but when's he's out there, he seems to be so unorthodox.

He's really good at driving to the hole, like REALLY good, but really bad at turning the ball over, shooting in general, and his free throw shooting is atrocious.

I guess he could be part of this core as a back up PG but I don't know going forward, say 2 or 3 years from now.

I have him on my fantasy team. He's awesome. :)

I love Tony, but yeah he is such a frustrating player. He blows by defenders at will, even when they sag off. He'll drop ridiculous dimes, he'll finish against two guys at the rim, he'll use his length and get some steals and he gets to the FT line at a ridiculous clip. He's just not very smart with the ball and he plays too out of control a lot of the time.

They picked up his 4th year option yesterday. I think at some point they will showcase him and sell him while he's still young and has value. The kids always going to get a shot in this league because he's really talented. If only he could be even a below average jump shooter.

I root for him, but I don't ever see him adapting his game though.

1 rebound is alarming.

Couple reasons for that. He was fronting Howard the whole game. When you do that you're giving up rebounding position to a great rebounder, but it was the only way he could contain Howard offensively. Reason number two is the Rockets shot lights out.

This is a horrible rebounding team. BFK needs to get some board help asap.

It is going to be a thing of beauty when both Nerlens and Embid will be on the court. They are going to be a menacing presence....

Even the dear leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, finds Nerlens inspiring. So much so he copied his hairdo :sarcasm:

Man, we are starting to see this master plan coming together. Slowly, very slowly but last night was a glimpse of what the master plan can turn into.

The thought of how much athleticism the Sixers can have on the court when fully integrated is quite scary. Noel, Embiid, MCW, KJ - these guys are freak of nature athletes at their respective positions. It is scary how potentially great defensively they can be if Brown meshes this together well.

Offensively is a whole different conversation. I have faith that Brown will be able to develop the offensive game of some of these guys, specifically Embiid which will be huge. Couple that with the cap room we have and the potential to draw in a scorer to complement this group. It can be beautiful.

So for right now we dream and we find the greater silver lining with each passing loss. More Noel, more KJ and a healthy MCW. I expect this team to be winning some games more consistently by the end of the year.

The main core pieces have been acquired via the last couple of drafts...now they have to develop...with Embid starting next year. Saric will then come over in a couple of years. I can see the Sixers maybe trading this year's number one for a more established player possibly. I mean like Lynum said....they have a ton of athleticism but they will need to tinker with surrounding some of them with some "specialists" (pure shooters etc.). Sixers have a ton of flexibility with the cap and picks they keep amassing to do that kind of tinkering and then adding a big time FA.

I can't wait.....and I want Larry Brown to be persona non grata when the Sixers are beasts of the East. He won't be allowed to see any games at the arena etc....
