It may be one reason Fletcher added veterans in volume if he knew about this scheduling in advance, it allows you to rest some players each game (since you can only play 5 & 1 veterans) and keep them healthy.

Royals play 30/36 home games on Fri/Sat/Sun, plus a morning game for school kids, a game on MLK holiday, and a New Years Eve game. Only 3 home true weeknight games, which is great for ticket sales.

They have Six 3 in 3's. 15 solo games, but 11 of those have travel before and after, so only 4 out of 72 do they have the day before and day after off without travel. (and travel means bussing to Maine or Brampton, or flying to Newfoundland commercial, no direct flights and always a weather delay) Plus they dress only 16 skaters and roster max is 20. NHL players are such prima donnas with all their days off :D

I didn't think about Ruby being an option this season for the 3w position. He really needs to get some playing time before being thrown into the top 9 I would guess since he has been injured a lot. Laughton/Frost/Farabee would be the main options there for me.

3 games in less than 72 hours is tough. I am sure it all has to do with families taking their children to games. Not many want to do it on a school night. Cannot back it up but I would bet Wed and Thursday night games don’t sell well.
It was always like this when we had the Monarchs up here. Seemed to be we had at least half a dozen 3 in 3.
Of course travel is a factor. Lowell was like a 25 minute bus ride for example.
God I wish we still had AHL hockey in Manchester

Maybe it's time to try and unite our board....look at this post from the main boards prospect polling:

"I think this is overrating recent counting stats for players that you guys have had in your prospect pool. This is the same thing the Montreal fans do with Suzuki. Does anyone project Frost as a 1st line winger or top six center? Unlikely. He’s probably a second line winger or a 3rd liner, if he plays center. Farabee had a good statistical season, but he’s a pretty low upside player. I would put Myers and York ahead of both of those two players. Positional value matters and fans often overrate the value of high counting stats in lower leagues for their prospects."

Is it surprising that I knew the poster you were referencing here before I actually saw it on there?
