In our day, we mowed the entire town's grass for 10 cents. It took about 2 straight weeks of work, mostly because we had to stop and kill enough dinosaurs to fill up the tank with gas. And this isn't close to hot. Back then it was so hot the grass spontaneously caught fire. But we still had to cut it. We tied rocks to the soles of our feet to keep from being burned.

10 cents during those times, though, was a treasure. We could buy our own weight in candy. Not that we could spend it on ourselves. Or that there was candy. Or stores. Still, those were the days!

You're right, never heard of Provorov or Patrick.

Guys like Frost and Farabee won't get benched by Hakstol, the same way Lindblom was an instant starter.

Ron is going to give Hagg a shot to show he can be a bottom six defenseman, why not, he's got size, decent skills, he's cheap.
At worst he doesn't improve and is traded for a late round pick (Cousins), at best he improves his skating, learns how to make an outlet pass, improve his hockey IQ, and combines that with his size and physical play.

If Sanheim and Myers play up to their talent, they'll play 20+ minutes a night.
Hagg is competing with MacDonald, Gudas and Folin for PT.
Sanheim and Myers are competing with themselves.
