Hopefully not.Is there going to be a 2021/2022 World Cup of Hockey to grab some more cash to make up for this lost revenue?

The US hasn't gone lockdown yet though, so far only China, Italy, Ireland, & Denmark have done so.I just don't see any way they don't have at least some form of playoffs. China is back to nearly full economic operation after six weeks of mostly lockdown conditions nationwide. Yes there is risk of transmission but there always will be, fact is within a few years we will all be exposed to the virus. Question is will we get a vaccine for it before the first time we contract it and will doctors have found better ways to treat those with the worst symptoms by then. But I see no way we spend years awaiting some more benign conditions, this next few weeks has to be about getting more tests and educating the public about this new fact of life we will have to deal with. Once past that things will be running again with of course new precautions taken.
Im thinking MLS strategy of a 30 day pause is about right. If so, compressing a few things and the NHL can award a Cup by around the 4th of July.

Should be noted that South Korea hasn't gone into lockdown and things are moving up Millhouse over there right now with number of infected dropping daily as they put emphasis on mass testing, public communication, & "technology".
Among other things SK sends you texts when there's new cases nearby where you live or work, has 2 daily media briefings, provide you the travel history of confirmed patients(privacy at this part is not great, though). They also don't ban travel, having implemented procedures for that. Fascinating stuff.
SK has been what no other country has been: proactive instead of reactive. Helps that they've been through outbreaks before.
Yeah, SK has mass testing as previously mentioned, and it's more of an example of why lockdowns aren't needed given good infrastructure to handle an outbreak. The US is a far cry removed from that, I figure a lockdown is only a matter of time. You'd think countries would want one sooner rather than later and start being proactive for once given the circumstances.South Korea is testing way more people though. I don't think the US will go that smoothly.
China says they have their outbreak under control and are trying to get their economy moving again. If you believe them.

Well at least Lehner ends his stint as a Knight with a 3-0 record.
Yeah, I think the looming salary cap puzzle pretty much dooms any thoughts of signing him.
Season will be cancelled imo.
With that being said, i wonder who is going to be our backup goalie next season?
No way the Knights will be able to keep both Fleury and Lehner.
Whatever happens we can’t afford to play Fleury a lot of games next season. So keeping Fleury and signing a weak backup probably means the team is going to struggle.

I just want to point out... today 1 year ago, was a day of infamy, that’ll live on forever in the hearts of Vegas fans forever.

Meh, being swept in the first round will happen at some point. What happened that game happens much much much much much less often.... only thing that'd have made it worse was if the sharks won they cup. Thanks St Louis.Until something worse happens to eclipse it. (Like say, being swept in the first round)
