I’d still pass, his skating and pace probably still wouldn’t fit on the Bruins. Spooner’s played in the KHL for the last 3 years and has a higher PPG than Cehlarik, right around a PPG and plays with more speed and skill. I would think it would be easier for Spooner to improve his defensive game than it would be for Cehlarik to improve his skating at this point.



...I wouldn't mind taking back Ryan Spooner at this point.

Dude won the player of the "world hockey" championship shortly after moving on from the bruins. He's skilled just lacks the speed. Perhaps his skating has improved and he makes a return to Boston. Anything is possible... IMO the chances are a 1% return to Bruins.

I think chances are 1% he returns to the NHL.
