Friendly reminder from the Admins:

As we enter the home stretch and playoff season I just want to get a reminder through both to mods and posters in the team boards.

"If you troll an opponents or rival teams boards whether through posts, reacts or cross board quoting posts/cross board notifications, you will be warned and forum banned."

If we can be consitent on this, there will be zero tolerance on this because once one side does it the other side think they can too.

Any questions or querries, don't hesitaite to ask.

Also, if anyone wants to re-watch Carter's shift in the third, you'll note that it *almost* resulted in yet another goal against because he chased behind the net and didn't notice that Habs player standing all alone in the slot. DeSmith actually made a save on that play otherwise Jeff "Patrice Bergeron" Carter would have been minus-5 on the night.

Game was like a microcosm of our whole season and issues. Bad starting goaltending. The usual annoying sequences like getting scored on immediately after we score to take a 2-0 lead, get scored on right after we kill a penalty, get scored on right at the end of the period when all we have to do is kill a few seconds and get to intermission. Loads of mental mistakes that undo any good we do. The kind of lack of focus, immaturity and blunders you'd expect from a young team that doesn't know how to win yet but we're one of the oldest teams in the league.

This shit drives me nuts. These D-men have been playing hockey since Kindergarten.
Dumoulin has the front of the net secured. The Pens are FINE. They have Montreal on the perimeter.

Then Dumoulin's completely behind the net a few seconds later, leaving the net front totally exposed. He started gliding towards that Hab behind the net before the puck even got there.
If he literally just plants himself in front of Jarry then nothing happens on this play.

Any time I've seen the Pens diligently position themselves in the danger zone all game, they come out with a good defensive night.
But yet, this garbage keeps happening to professionals.

Even if Dumo has to go behind the net, he needs to communicate to Carter to replace him in that spot. Carter can't be expected to just know Dumo's gonna bail.
Plus it's Carter's job to telescope out to the point men quickly when the puck goes there, so they can't just walk in for a dangerous shot. He shouldn't be asked to do Dumo's job.

Dude, I've been posting this all the time... yes our goalie needs insulation and for the most part can't make electric saves BUT....

We literally can't defend- 2-3 times a game there is a Attacking Forward wide open and this board says, "Got to make a save..." that shot was so quick and fast... he's frozen on the pole and it's 33% chance to make a save without a Defender. Puck holder can fake and then bring it back 5-hole. He can stretch with speed and go top or bottom...

Jarry has been up and down. CDS is just as bad.

Our Defense is up and down.

L3 and L4 skate on ice....

You said it best, We are are and average team that plays average most nights... we are a finished product this year.

Can someone please explain what in the hell Joseph was doing on the last Montreal goal? If not for Carter, Petry and Jarry, we'd be talking about how bad Joseph was in this game

His speed has really been hiding his tunnel vision. He makes a lot of mistakes every game and attempts to recover by chasing down the puck carrier, ignoring everything else on the ice.

Dude seriously doesn't seem to understand he's playing for his job. Too bad, I like him, though not his game as much, but he's young and can get better and hopefully bigger. He has looked like shit in his most recent appearances.

Jarry is sporting an .877 save percentage since coming back from his latest injury on February 20th. That’s a pretty far cry from the .921 save percentage in the games before.

What’s most concerning is that his 3 most miserable games this season have all happened in the last 3 weeks.
