I hope so. But someone posted a Tweet (from Colligan, maybe?) that said he does, in fact, have a limited NTC. It was just never listed anywhere.

If he wants to win a cup he will accept a trade.

He can still win a Cup in his career, right now playing on this team is driving up his value. Keep in mind he signed long term in Buffalo with no solid Cup future there, he was lucky they bought him out. He came to this team to show he can still be a top 4 defenseman, he'll stay and hit the UFA market July 1st asking for what Niskanen got from the Caps, and some team will give him that contract.
