They were a poking around Hanifin in the summer. Remember the 25-26 year old Dman he acquired for Tampa? He’s looking for his McDonagh for Detroit. Hanifin is very similar at the same age….. one thing of note. The emergence of Anton Johansson, gives them even more confidence to move a Wallinder if they had to. They will acquire a 20-25 minute pair carrier. It’s just a matter of when. They expect Edvinsson to be that too, but in 2-3 years.

As for Kane, since August it’s been Detroit. First it was if they were interested too, and ever since it’s been about his medicals. Now it seems they’re good with his medicals.
