After Pasta was basically a point-per-game player in his second full year last year it seems like he's an even better player this year. Could definitely hit 45 goals and who knows maybe that lovely 50 goal plateau

And he’s still maybe “only” the 3rd best player on his line!

He was such an exciting player to watch last night. He's dang impressive. Can't believe you guys got him locked up at $6.6M per, he's going to be a great player for a long time, and that contract is an affordable one for his talent.

It's insane that two out of the 3 players on that line are locked up for less than $7M each, with Bergeron being just above that.

That line is $8-9M underpaid together.

I thought Bergy signed for like 6.85 or something? could have sworn it was under 7. Anyways, the line is top 2 in the world but it was broken up last night. We will see what happens if they stick with that decision. Bruins badly need secondary scoring to pick up or were not going anywhere.

2016-17 even though Pastrnak had more points and goals "Nylander is better AINEC, you're crazy to take Pastrnak. Nylander best player in the WHC"
2017-18 owned them in the playoffs "LOL thank god for his contract. No way Nylander asks for more"
2018-19 "Nylander is an entitled *****, Dubas needs to tell him how much superior Pastrnak is. Draisaitl is overpaid"

^ all factual, 2% of my overall post count went into this debate

Pasta might be the best winger in the NHL right now

A lot of great wingers in the league but he's up there, funnily enough his closest comparison, at least in my opinion is another #88, Patrick Kane.

Probably the most exciting player to watch for me, bias aside. I just love watching the kid. He's always out there having fun, he's always showing love to the kids in the stands too.

He's a guy I'll always root for, that's for sure.

    He's so underrated.

As a Leafs fan who generally doesn't like the Bruins, I find myself tuning in just to watch him play.

    Exceptional player. Superb contract.

Is there anyone who denies Pastrnak being an amazing player? Literally every time I see him discussed people have nothing but [deserved] praise for him.

Concussion problems (missed 16 games) just before the draft. Was really, really (like 165 lbs.) skinny. He's beefed up since then.
