Better than Prout. Not sure what the market was, but surprised he didn't bring back a little more in return given the other trades we've seen.

Well the returns are disappointing, but we know that Shero and team have no hallucinations about making the playoffs this year. They're going to let the kids play and try to get as high of a draft pick as possible.

Yikes

Just a 6th? Maybe because he's kind of injured?

Probably not, when seeing what other guys have brought back today.

I'm just glad he got both Parenteau and Quincey off the team.

We have internal options that are better that I'd rather see versus veterans with no future with the team.

We got a free 6th rounder guys calm down. Claiming PA a week before the season then turning that into a pick is a win. If Shero could have gotten more he would have.

At least we got something for Parenteau. I wouldn't have been shocked if nobody was interested (ie Parenteau last season, or like Ryder's last year here). I think a few folks got their hopes up that this would be Stempniak Part II.

Giant F for Shero this deadline

I'd say C-

Depending on what happens with Prout and if he was brought in to be given a long leash and be a regular. That move is a F.

A 6th is probably the best he could get for Parenteau.
