Yeah, that's pretty much the norm for EA. We won't likely see a roster update until about a month after the full game release.

Let me ask you a question: now that you've seen the new jerseys in the game, do you think they look strange with the chest stripe only going half way around the jersey? It looks weird to me.

Yes. Not so much on the red.

It's putrid on the white. And i play true broadcast view, and it's putrid.

I picked up my first shutout in goal in the NHL 17 EASHL Beta last night. Only had to make 15 saves and my team kept their shots to the outside but I'll take it. Mostly the tactic has been to fire low shots on me and crash for goals. You can literally run over the goalie and knock the puck loose on most shots.

I am still wondering why Jiri Hudler is the player that pops up when you choose the Panthers. Why is he the highest rated :laugh:

The other thing that bugs me but correct me if I am wrong, does Barkov not have a face scan STILL?

how the **** do you put someone up for a cover vote and not put their face in the game?

The NHL series has been in trouble for a few years now. The current Dev Team has been questionable at best. I've been waiting on a lag free online playing experience for six years now. They have yet to deliver.

They did bring back a soundtrack with what looks like unlock-able songs in many genres. I'm still not sure if it will allow streaming music from other devices or not. I hope so.

You do know that they did just use last seasons last rosters. The up to date roster + ratings wont be up until later on

I didn't they there menu music / soundtrack could get worse but they did it. First thing for 10+ years now when you first turn on the game turn off menu music

Yea...i did say that above.

My point still stands, its a half assed beta by using the same ratings.

It's pretty clear the only issue there trying to fix with the beta is online lag. As you can see those stats yourself now too

I guess this is thread for random post that is tangentially related to Florida/hockey? :laugh:

This summer I made the final table of a World Series of Poker event. On the third day, I wore my Panthers Jagr shirt (red) and it seemed to bring me some luck! I was last out of 16 players entering the final day, but finished 6th. In another event, I started day two with Miami John Cernuto (as well as Chris "Jesus" Ferguson) at my table. Ironically, I twice ended up next to a pro from Czech Rep. (finished 2nd in Main Event a few years ago) on day 3 and we talked quite a bit after he brought up my Jagr shirt. He is a really nice, humble guy. Lot of late nights, but played with a ton of pros, played great, had lively tables and had a blast, it was a real thrill.

Hope Lu is OK. Go Cats!

Ι play some poker myself. Not high stakes like you, even though Id love to try. I play mostly around the neighborhood here where I live, and sometimes at the casino, which is about an hour away from here. I used to play at the Hard Rock in Hollywood (FL), and I made it my full time job. I wasnt making crazy money, but I was making a few hundred bucks a night. Any recommendation/tips? Maybe some books to get caught up on? Im trying to get more into it now.
