They are at the end of the year when every team has played 82 games. What a dumb remark.
Flames have beat the Jets twice, Leafs once and lost to Tampa and Caps in a shootout.
Flames lost to the Canucks twice, the Blues twice, the Canadiens twice, the Oilers twice. I don't get what you're trying to say here. Sure they're a pretty good team but you people are acting like they are the best team in the league which anyone aside from flames fans know is not true.
So we’re supposed to just not speculate or make any commentary until the end of the season?
No but when teams are behind one or two points in the standings with multiple games in hand its a bit of a stretch to say that that makes them worse teams.

Flames are very beatable and regular season means jack shit.

In the head to head matchups? Calgary beat them 7-4 and have a 1-1-1 record against them. So they have basically been even against each other.
If you want to argue that the Canucks were much better in the 3 matchups because they won a game in OT (which is basically a crapshoot) then lol.
This is the same stupid shit you guys said when you were matched up with vegas in the wcf. Look how that turned out for you.
Why are all the Pacific Fans and Central fans fighting against each other?! We need to come together and state the obvious. West is the better conference, the Stanley Cup champion will be from there.

Yeah I don’t see the point of that comment either. What if the Jets play another 7 game series with Nashville and are tired? Would they still beat Calgary then?
That’s the excuse I kept hearing last year.
In any case I never said the Jets were worse than anyone in the Pacific in this thread. I think someone assumed my position was the exact same position that someone else has and that’s not true.

At the very least, your claim of clear superiority has no basis in reality. Three straight Cups with the consensus being that during that time that the Pens, Caps and Bolts have been the teams playing in the real Stanley Cup final is the much better indicator of which division/conference has been best until proven differently.
Better hang on to 1st Calgary. Or it will be a disappointing season with a 1st round exit. Vegas or sj win easily. Not sure getting 1st in division and playing ducks/wild/stars changes anything.
