He's not a wrecking ball out there, but he certainly uses leverage and reach to his advantage. He has a bomb of a shot that will beat most goalies in the league. If he had more accuracy he would be scoring like Nick Robertson.

I think he skates better than most. He has long strides and uses his body really well.
Like pops said - you might see that 30% of the time but that 30% will often produce results.

North Bay’s Mitch Russell (’19-’20 GP 51 G 21 A 21 Pts 42) has not played any of the pre-season. He sustained a season ending concussion (thanks to OTT’s Merrick Rippon’s blast from behind into the boards) early Feb., ’20 and with the possible exception of the Erie event, has not played since.

Some see him as a key ingredient if the Battalion are to challenge for a playoff spot. If he is not able to play, is there a quality overage scoring winger available at a reasonable price? And would Joe Carroll be a candidate?

Maybe Flint or Peterborough if they need the bodies. Guelph, London and Ottawa all have enough forwards where it wouldn't make sense bringing in an OA with such little experience.
